Job Details

Job Description
    1. Advise business houses and multinational corporations on the tax and regulatory aspects of planning, structuring, and executing transactions involving mergers, demergers, slump sales, acquisitions, etc.

    2. Advise clients on tax and regulatory efficient restructurings, interpret complex legislative and regulatory actions relating to corporate transactions, and perform financial analysis to assess the tax consequences of specific transactions.

    3. Conduct research on tax theory and positions specific to the client’s transactions.

    4. Undertake detailed fiscal and regulatory review of proposed reorganizations, including evaluation of various direct tax, company law, SEBI, FEMA, stamp duty, accounting, and commercial implications.

    5. Review transaction documents such as business transfer agreements, share purchase agreements, and schemes of arrangement filed with regulatory bodies, including related documents like shareholder resolutions, notices, petitions, and explanatory statements.

    6. Perform direct tax due diligence and analysis for M&A transactions.

    7. Draft and review deliverables such as reports, proposals, advice, opinions, emails, presentations, and other client-facing documents.

    8. Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements during the M&A process.

    Location - Fort, Mumbai.

    CTC - Depending on the years of relevant experience and interview, the CTC would range of around 10 to 15 LPA.

    Working Days and Hours: Monday to Friday - 10-6:30 &
    Alternate sat are work from home.

Desired Candidate Requirement
    1. Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA).

    2. Relevant work with 0 to 2 years of experience in M&A Tax or Corporate Taxation.

    3. Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and strong presentation skills.

    4. Proven ability to exercise sound judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

    5. Commercial acumen to assess and deliver tailored solutions.

    6. Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    7. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

    8. Proficiency in drafting reports, proposals, and transaction-related documentation.
